![]() ![]() ![]() Using Microsoft's built-in audio driver, speaker/headphone switching works fine (including Youtube in IE) but the mic array is not recognized. While I have never had a problem when testing with system sounds, I have found a reliable way to bork the IDT audio driver:ġ) open Internet Explorer, go to YouTube, and begin video playback (with audio of course) - sounds play through speakersĢ) plug in headphones - sounds stop playing, video playback usually crashesģ) pull out headphone jack - still no sound, video playback still crashedĦ) restart laptop - audio still borked but oddly enough system sounds still workĭoing the same test in Chrome doesn't completely bork the audio driver but you have to restart the browser whenever you switch speakers/headphones. I too am using all the same drivers that you refer to in the CAB, though I did not install them in sysprep mode. Hope this information was helpful and do let us know if you need further assistance.
